Sims fan? Waiting for Sims 3? Then this stamp is for you :)
I myself am not done at all with Sims 2. I don't know whether or not I will like Sims 3 as much, but I am a Sims webmiss, so, well, yeah... I will be keeping up with the news, and the screens, and the vids, and the, you get the idea here...

The base I found was from zilla774 and can be found here.

It's a fun game. The only problem is when you have to keep going on it to stop them from dying..

I love the Sims 3 best one yet however I will love TS2 more because it was so wacky and fun especially the GameCube version you got to control their movements like a regular game it was so awesome. <3
But nice stamp. +fav <3

I'm addicted to Sims 3... Ahhh. But do you have any idea how to make two sims fall in love? I have two sims,(they are housemates) male and female, and they are old friends, which means they are very good friends... And my male sim is family orrientated, which means his lifetime wish is to have 5 sim kids and raise them from babies to teenagers... I want them to 'whohoo' but I don't know how... :(
Nice stamp by the way. Do you mind if I fave it?
CaptainNinjaPants Featured By Owner Dec 4, 2009  Hobbyist General Artist
All you have to do is click on the female sim (when you are controlling the male sim) and then click romantic and it should be under there or if the male sim is relaxing on the bed and you click on the female sim and do the same thing. But this will only show up if the female is a romantic interest to the male if not....then it won't work.
ZoeTheHedgehog Featured By Owner Dec 4, 2009
Thanks. I have 2 sim babies now :)

Can't wait!! :excited: Thanks for sharing this stamp, I'm collecting :D
chuui-chan Featured By Owner Jan 24, 2009
ooh pretty (:
i am really excited about it, even though it has come out quite quickly; only i heard you don't have to control their basic needs any more? and while this might sound tragic, i actually liked feeding them x
snwgames Featured By Owner Jan 24, 2009  Professional Digital Artist
Me too! So I really know what you're saying. I think I'm going to miss the micro management we have with Sims 2!
chuui-chan Featured By Owner Jan 28, 2009
mmm. or maybe you can still override their actions if you, say, wanted to make them eat endless pizza? (i only did that once, for the sake of reality...;;)
actually you'd probably know better than me if you've seen demonstrations and fun stuff like that <:
snwgames Featured By Owner Jan 28, 2009  Professional Digital Artist
Afaik you can still make them do stuff you want them to do. It's just that some of the things we are used to know will be gone. I still have to play this game for a few days to actually see if I am going to like it as much. I'm sure I'll like it, just don't know if this will replace Sims 2 for me... :aww:

hail hail!
they made a follow up way to soon!
I don't even know if much changes. (I mean next to 1 TS2 is just...WOW)
I am kinda curious about the new neighbourhood though (you know, being able to walk around and see it compleetly)
snwgames Featured By Owner Jan 8, 2009  Professional Digital Artist
I attended a press event a while ago and it does have some really nice changes. But I'm not fully convinced this will become the #1 game for me. I'm so happy with TS2, still. I created over 10.000 items for TS2 myself and I'm not ready to give up on those yet :giggle:

Like I said, there are some really nice new features. But I have to try it out first before I can say whether or not I will continue with TS3 and leave TS2 on my shelves :aww:
Merenwen-luinwee Featured By Owner Jan 8, 2009  Student Artist
I did download a few minor things... like wings fox ears and a chi set I think...
I need to download more, what kind of stuff do you make?

what kind of other big changes will there be?
snwgames Featured By Owner Jan 8, 2009  Professional Digital Artist
I create everything there is to change in the game. The uploading part takes a lot of work so I hardly uploaded anything (only a few thousand things - which is nothing compared to what I actually made). I create clothing, objects, hairdos etc (mainly recolors, but people always really liked them. These are not the average recolors you usually find on the net). I also create walls, floors, roofs, extra build mode stuff like fences, windows, doors etc. I also created a few 'mods', which makes it possible for some clothes to appear in different age groups (some young adult clothing didn't appear on the generic adult catalog, so I had to mod that a little :giggle: ). Then we have some neighborhoods, homes, CAS scenes etc. I will be changing my fansites soon so that they are one huge website and it will be a lot better than it is now. We currently have 98.000 members on our websites, so it's time for a change with TS3 coming soon :lmao:

I still have to write a good preview about TS3, I haven't been able to do this due to personal stuff. Right now I can tell you some things, though I'm not sure you don't already know them.

Needs and personality will be replaced by the new 'treats'. You can have 6 of these and they pretty much determine your Sim's character.

Sims go to work in TS3, nothing too major. You still cannot watch them working. Although you can see them enter a building where they work (i.e. a hospital).

Cars can be placed in more than just one way, like we have now (which is something I really liked to see).

The coloring/texturing part is really cool. You no longer just have a few recolors to choose from. You can just pick an in-game pattern and a few colors to style something. It's pretty easy and cool. Although this does mean the creators like me have less of a job to do, which means less promotion and fun stuff to make for us... This has two sides for me lol.

I'll probably tell a lot more in my previews which will come soon. Just hadn't had the time yet. I'll visit EA again soon to preview the game again. And this time we'll also have some hands-on time so we can actually experience the game ourselves, rather than watching a demo everyone else already saw :aww:

If you want to be informed about this upcoming preview, I'd suggest you visit Simsnetwerk: [link] (Dutch) (Simsnetwork, which is the English version, is pretty much dead atm, at least on Simsnetwerk we have regulars visiting the forums every so often).
Merenwen-luinwee Featured By Owner Jan 8, 2009  Student Artist
ok...thats pretty damn cool, I might look foreward to ts3 more now...
I'm not much of a creator since I never got the hang of it (otherwise my chars would be ruleing my neighbourhood) so the texture styling was something I was looking foreward to as well ^^
I'm glad to see that its easier to make your sim mor eof an individual as well. I found that in ts2 as well, though even though the smaller things were different while playing them they're all still pretty much the same.
(its fun looking at them NPC though...I made this one guy, who was a slob, he accually fished things from the trashcan, and a criminal lady who steals newspapers, stuff like that XD)

you can accually play with it allready? awesomeniss ^^ I wanna hear how that goes.

If all goes well, probably early February one last time before it gets in stores. Next week MySims Racing and Party. Got any interest in that, and got questions? I'm going to talk to the producers so...
